College Bound provides young people in high school with access to individualized case management, weekly workshops, FAFSA and college application guidance, and other support to prepare them for the next step in their academic careers. Career Bound prepares them to enter the workforce by providing weekly skill-building workshops, individualized case management, career exposure, and opportunities to earn industry credentials. These services benefit the youth of Los Angeles Harbor, and the goal is to set all of the youth we serve on a pathway to success.

Harbor Community Development Corporation

Proposed Budget: $253,615

The program aims to improve educational and career opportunities for youth in Wilmington by increasing access to academic resources, expanding job-related support, and exposing pre-collegiate youth to higher education experiences. Deliverables include awarding scholarships, tutoring sessions, providing professional attire, and offering community fellowships. The program's overall objective is to benefit the community by supporting individuals in pursuing their career and educational goals and fostering a culture of achievement in Wilmington and beyond.
